In Israel, there is an ongoing push to deport African Hebrew Israelites.
The Times of Israel reported that the Interior ministry’s Population and Immigration Authority has sent letters to 51 members of the Hebrew Israelites, ordering them to leave by Sept. 23.
Hebrew Israelites live predominantly in the southern city of Dimona. The mayor of the town Benny Biton is against the deportation tactics.
Sar Ahmedial Ben Yehuda, minister of information for the African Hebrew Israelites of Jerusalem, joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to discuss this issue.
